Mud Hens and Rainbows
Tracking down the story of "ball-player" Thomas E. Clifford, one of the original Toledo Mud Hens in 1896 and my great-grandfather. Members of four of the five generations that came after him recently gathered in St. Louis for a reunion, in the shadow of a baseball field.
